Anthony Sethill, Chief Executive Officer
Before joining Toumaz, Anthony was founder and CEO of Frontier Silicon Ltd, the leading supplier of digital broadcast and network audio products. From 2001, he successfully grew the business and established Frontier Silicon as a strategic supplier of digital audio chips and modules to global consumer electronic brands.
Prior to that, Anthony was Managing Director of Consumer & Mobile Phone Products at Amstrad PLC, Sales and Marketing Director at Samsung (UK) Ltd, and has also held positions with ONDigital and Alba Group Plc.
Jonathan Apps, Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan has over 16 years’ experience as a finance director, having previously been CFO of Europe’s largest independent WiFi operator The Cloud Networks for over four years. Prior to that Jonathan was CFO of interactive TV, mobile and internet content producer YooMedia, CFO at AIM listed technology venture capital fund E-capital Investments, and European Finance Director at network integrator EQUANT Integration Services.
Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Birmingham University.
Prem Rajalingham, Chief Commercial Officer
Prem joined Frontier Silicon in 2004 and has over 18 years’ experience in the semiconductor and consumer electronics industry. With an established strong network with key consumer electronics brands and manufacturers around the world, Prem is responsible for Frontier’s global sales, applications and customer support teams. Through his career, Prem has held various positions in Europe and Asia in silicon development, applications, product management, marketing and sales. Prem has a first class honors degree in Electronics Engineering, and a Masters in System Level Integration from the University of Edinburgh.
Bob Heads, Vice President - Group Engineering
Bob is VP of Group Engineering for Toumaz with responsibility for the Frontier Silicon engineering team. In his early career Bob was a digital hardware and software engineer, before progressing to manage large, global multi-skilled engineering teams. He managed the Engineering team for 3Com’s LAN business, overseeing the development of silicon, hardware and software solutions. Bob was also instrumental in setting up the joint venture between Huawei in China and 3Com. At Frontier, he has led the engineering team which has delivered the world’s leading DAB digital radio technology solutions. Bob has a first class honours degree in Computer Engineering from Manchester University.
Patrick Hannon, Vice President - Corporate Development
Patrick Hannon joined Frontier Silicon in 2011 as VP Corporate Development. Patrick’s role is to promote the international take-up of digital radio - he was elected President of WorldDAB in November 2013. He is also responsible for strategy and corporate communications. Before joining Frontier, Patrick was a strategy consultant serving the broadcast and new media sectors. Previously, Patrick worked at BBC / BBC Worldwide in senior commercial and strategy roles. Patrick has a degree in Economics and Management Studies from Cambridge University and an MBA (Distinction) from Cass Business School.
Mike Warren, Vice President - Silicon Operations
Mike joined Frontier Silicon in 2006 and has over 20 years’ experience in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Frontier, Mike held management roles in Operations, Product Development and R&D at ST Microelectronics, 3Com, International Rectifier and IBM. At Frontier, Mike is responsible for Silicon Operation, Quality, and Supply Chain management.
SK Tay, Vice President and General Manager - China
With established experience in manufacturing for the broadcast industry, SK was formerly Chief Operating Officer of Rockridge Sound, one of the largest manufacturers of DAB digital radios in China.
John Farrell, Vice President – Advanced Technology
John is responsible for research and development of the biomedical and connected technologies that are a key part of Toumaz’s products in the healthcare and consumer markets. John joined Frontier Silicon in 2002 and for 10 years he led development of the software that powers its chips and modules. Prior to that he ran engineering for the Internet Appliances division of Pace Micro Technology following its acquisition from Acorn Computers. He graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering.
